About the Program
Safe On All Roads is the identity of the Montana Department of Transportation program to promote traffic safety on the seven Indian reservations in Montana. Though still in a pilot phase when launched in 2006, the Safe On All Roads program has developed into a significant link in the effort to reduce crash deaths and injuries among the state's American Indian populations. Funding for the program comes through the State Highway Traffic Safety Bureau.
